RELEASE: Baltimore City Sheriff’s Office Increases Deputies On Patrol

BALTIMORE CITY SHERIFF'S OFFICE INCREASES DEPUTIES ON PATROL

BALTIMORE, Maryland — Baltimore City Sheriff Sam Cogen has taken immediate action to ensure Baltimore City residents have extra protection as the holiday season continues. 

"Keeping our residents safe is the overall mission of the Baltimore City Sheriff's Office,” said Sheriff Cogen. “This holiday season, we have taken swift action by increasing the number of deputies on patrol to deter crime. It’s our goal for people to feel safe while enjoying the holiday season, and for criminals to stay away.”

The increased patrols began on Monday, Dec. 19, and will continue through Friday, Dec. 30. Deputies have been deployed to the 1900 to 2400 block of East Monument Street, 36th St. Hamden, and the 2800 Block of Greenmount Ave.
